Adopt a School

Adopt a School is the name that has been given to a particular type of project that links schools with an enterprise or organisation.

The projects are designed to build on going relationships between schools and employers. This collaboration may result in students seeing the industry as attractive to them for a career, but the project itself is not explicitly about careers. Each project should have a clear objective and outcome. The success of the project should be celebrated through an event.

This link takes you to the Mindshop Excellence website. The Mindshop Excellence Program can be designed as an Adopt a School Project. It is a five-day, work based experience, aimed at (15–16 year old) Year 10 students.
